Is Slovenia a safe destination to visit?

Can I make a reservation directly through your site?
Yes, please use our online booking form, which can be found on our website at www.adventureslovenia.com.

What credit cards do you accept?
We accept payment by Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, and Maestro.

Will our money be refunded if we need to cancel our reservation?
In the event of a reservation cancellation, Adventure Slovenia will refund the customer's payment in accordance with the the time of the cancellation:

• 20 days prior to tour date: 70% refund.
• 19 – 10 days prior to tour date: 50% refund.
• 9 - 5 days prior to tour date: 30% refund.
• 4 - 1 days prior to tour date: 0% refund.

How do I know what adventures are available and when?
Contact us for all program availability, and we will work around your travel schedule. All of our offered activities have minimum participant requirements, so please contact us prepared to provide a few different days that would fit into your travel plans.

How do I know when my booking is final?
Your booking is final once we have received your payment online. Following your payment, we will email you a voucher confirming your spot.

After I book my reservation, how long will it take to receive confirmation from Adventure Slovenia?
After submitting your Booking Request you will immediately receive an e-mail, containing your ORDER ID confirming that your order has been received and is now being processed. Within 12 hours our reservation staff will advise you on booking details via email.

What should I do if I do not hear from your staff within 12 hours of booking my reservation?
There is a possibility that the confirmation number on our mail may go into your junk mail, bulk mail, or spam mail. You should check these mailboxes if 12 hours have passed without any response from us. In case you do not find any revert mail from us, please contact us as soon as possible, so that our staff can contact you right away!

What happens if the weather prohibits a planned adventure?
While we work in all weather conditions, severe weather that threatens your safety will have an affect on the activity. Adventure Slovenia will inform you if your program will be affected by inclement weather. If your adventure must be cancelled due to weather, we will rebook you into a different date. If this doesn't suit you and Adventure Slovenia is required to cancel the program, we will give you a 100% refund.

If I arrive and realize that I am not up to the adventure, will I get a refund?
No, if you choose to go on an adventure we would expect that you have done enough research to know what to expect. Our staff are specifically trained to help participants who are nervous or scared.

When is the best time to travel to Slovenia?
The busiest time to visit is during the warmer months from April through October. Yet Slovenia is just as spectacular to visit in the cooler months as it is the warm. During the months of November to March, days are often sunny and calm, providing the ideal opportunity for photography and enjoyment of winter life in Slovenia.

How many guides will be on my trip?
Each trip will be led by a qualified and experienced guide. He will be assisted by a number of junior guides, with varying levels of experience and qualifications. We generally allocate one guide for every seven to eight guests.

What happens in the case of an accident?
All our lead guides are qualified in first aid, and carry a first aid kit with them at all stages of the tour. In the case of an emergency, as with any wilderness adventure, the guides will call EMT.

Does the price includes hotel pick-up?
Yes it does, but please inform us of where you will be staying a few days prior to your tour, in order that we can pick you up at the appropriate time.

What kind of transportation is used on your tours?
We generally travel with vans or mini-buses, depending on the size of the group. The seats are comfortable, the music is authentic, and the commentary provided by your guides is pertinent and interesting.

I've never traveled with a group before-what can I expect?
Our trips have resulted in life-long friendships and even marriages! We always have fun on our tours, and have found that everyone gets along very well. Traveling in such a small group makes matters such as logistics extremely effortless. Our clients have often commented they felt that they had the perfect balance of time spent as a group and private time during their tour with Adventure Slovenia.
