Slovenia’s exceptionally diverse landscape, with its countless sites of natural beauty, both strikingly evident and more subtly concealed, makes it an ideal choice for biking holidays. Every biker can find a route that suits his personal experience and interests, and we are happy to answer all questions and help create a route and trip based off personal preferences and abilities.
It’s absolutely impossible to be bored on a bike in Slovenia. Due to the friendly Mediterranean climate, biking can be enjoyed throughout practically the entire year. The only exceptions are the Alps, which are a wonderful attraction in the summer for bikers to enjoy cooler weather, but are too chilly in the wintertime for road biking.
The upland regions of the country boast tracks and macadam roads that are ideal for mountain biking, as well as numerous forest trails designed specifically for bikers. There are also plenty of roads with little traffic suitable for biking in Slovenia. No matter the conditions, however, helmets are worn by the majority of bikers at all times, and are mandatory for all children under the age of fourteen.
