Adventure Slovenia

The first part of our trip will take us to the Lipica Stud Farm, one of the oldest stud farms in the world and home to the white Lipizzaner horses. The stud farm was also one of the sights visited by Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II during her stay in Slovenia. At the farm, we will be able to attend training sessions of the classical Lipizzaner riding school and may also get to see one of their elegant riding shows.

After that, we will descend into the fascinating network of tunnels that make up the Škocjan Caves. The tunnels as well as one of the largest underground canyons in Europe were shaped by the Reka River winding through the karst landscape over centuries. The Škocjan Caves are a remarkable natural phenomenon whose global significance was recognized by their inclusion in UNESCO’s list of world cultural and natural heritage sites.
