Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Ljubljana, Slovenia
Upon arriving in Ljubljana, you will be met by Adventure Slovenia representative and transferred to the old part of the city. You will stay overnight in a comfortable hotel in Ljubljana.
Day 2: Kayaking on Krka river
We will first arrive at Krka village, where the local kayaking crew will warmly welcome us! We will kayak on the Krka River with world kayak champion Borut Javornik, a medal-winning Slovenian Olympic team member and coach. After basic instructions, we will begin a 9 km journey down the Krka River, taking in the splendors of the passing Slovenian countryside.
After we have finished kayaking, we will be welcomed at a local guesthouse for lunch or early dinner, depending upon our kayaking time. There will be plenty of local wines, homemade bread, fresh trout and more.
**Please note that the program and degree of the river course is always adjusted to the knowledge and ability of the participants.
Accommodation Bohinj
Day 3: Trekking at Triglav National Park
After a hearty breakfast we will set off for Bohinj, where Triglav National Park is waiting for us. We will drive to one of the trailheads of Triglav National Park, where we will begin a day full of trekking high above the village of Bohinj. The path ascends high through an evergreen forest, eventually reaching the heart of the craggy Julian Alps.
We will hike along soft golden pastures, filled with curious cows following our paths. Once we reach the highest point of the day, the viewpoint of the Seven Triglav lakes is below us. It is a spectacular landscape of turquoise lakes, limestone peaks and giant boulders scattered across the surrounding area. Set in the middle is our mountain hut, where we spend the night in dormitory-style lodging.
Day 4: Bled--Trekking and adventure park action
After a high energy breakfast at the mountain hut, we gear back up with hiking boots and traverse through Triglav National Park. We meander along undulating paths with wide-open views of the green pastures and surrounding Julian Alps. The final part of the trek is through an evergreen forest, and the springy trail is strewn with pine needles and honeycombs.
Our driver will be waiting for us at the end of the trail and transfer us to Lake Bled where we will stop for a short break and try Bled's famous cream cake. Bled Lake is a famous glacial lake with an iconic castle perched high on a rock overlooking the lake. We will also visit Adventure Park - one of the best adrenaline parks in central Europe. After thrilling adrenaline-pumped adventure, we will go on a boat ride with a traditional pletna boat to the only island in all of Slovenia. We will spend the night in Bled.
Day 5 : Cross-country biking in the heart of Julian alps
After a hearty breakfast we set out on knobby tire mountain bikes to explore the picturesque villages surrounding Kranjska Gora. We ride on winding paved and dirt roads that carve through villages with wooden homes, decorated with baskets of scarlet geraniums in their windows, reminiscent of Swiss architecture. We break for an organic lunch at a shepherd’s farm, with all of the ingredients grown locally and prepared by our hosts. Lunch is a delicious spread of homemade cheeses, cold cuts, breads and salads. After lunch we jump back on our bikes and continue riding along a forest trail that leads to Mangartska jezera or Laghi di Fusine in Italy. Upon arrival there is free time to walk down to the lake for a swim in the turquoise lake.
Over night stay in Kobarid
Day 6: Bovec (rafting and canyoning )
We will start our journey early in the morning by heading towards the beautiful alpine world of the Slovene Northwest. After crossing Vršič, Slovenia’s highest mountain pass, a magnificent view of the Julian Alps will open up before us.
This is the world of the emerald green Soča River, where we will visit one of its springs. Our main destination for the day, considered by many the most beautiful river in Europe. We will then embark on an adrenaline-filled rafting trip down the wild rapids of the Soča River! a
After rafting to try extreme river canyoning. This involves cruising along natural scultpures created over millenia. While canyoning, we will meander over to Sušec and Fratarca, where we will swim in crystal-clear pools, slip through both small and large waterfalls, slide along with toboggans and descend into the canyonswe will head to Drežnica, an idyllic village at the heart of the Julian Alps that is very popular with paragliders. With prior notice given, tandem paragliding flights can be arranged.
Day 7: Ljubljana
Last day of Adventure in Slovenia will be easygoing day of relaxing in Ljubljana, spent by drinking wine in a local wine bar and discovering the old part of this medieval town considered to be the most friendly city in Europe. We will enjoy a special farewell dinner before saying goodnight.
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
Also we can change some programs with other activities such as , survival 2 day course in nature with experinced army instructors also mountain climbing and other adventure activities
